Welcome to my personal website!
I am a permanent researcher employed by the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and working at the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) in Paris (France).
My research seeks to elucidate the developmental basis of vertebrate diversity and evolution by combining functional genomics, experimental and comparative embryology approaches in conventional and unconventional organisms (including fish, amphibian, reptile, bird and mammalian organisms).
More particularly, my goal is to understand how the musculoskeletal system adapted for the emergence of anatomical innovations specific to tetrapods. The collected data bring also new insights for the understanding of some human birth defects. |
